About Me

First, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, as described in the Bible in Romans 10:9. Being a follow of Jesus Christ defines who I am, a child of God, as well as my world view; namely, I am a sinner by nature and in need of a Savior - someone who can restore my relationship with God. Jesus died for my sin so that I can now please God by what I do.

Second, I am a driven Software Consultant, Manager, Architect, and businessman with experience in multiple industries, utilizing a wide range of tools, technologies and structured methodologies to complete full life-cycle Agile/Iterative and Waterfall projects.

I possess experience in leading projects and teams of developers, while spearheading the adoption of new processes and technologies to meet specific business needs.

Recent career highlights: served as Architect and Team Manager on a 17+ member team to re-platform a leading US Pharmacy’s prescription filling system; participated in and lead aspects of in a multi-resource, nine-month engagement to re-architect and re-platform line of business applications from VB6 to a SOA (.NET + WCF) solution for a leading Marine transportation company; lead a multi-resource team during a nine-month engagement to design & develop a data warehouse and custom reporting solution for a leading Energy company utilizing .NET, WCF, and SQL Server 2008R2; lead a four-person team during a three-month engagement to design and develop a web administration portal for a marine industry company utilizing ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server 2008R2. Has expertise in a broad, cross section of technologies ranging from Microsoft .NET Languages & Frameworks and Microsoft SQL Server (OLTP) data stores to Apple iOS and XCode.
